Ramadan, Day 20, Hadith 20
Our fasting is meaningless if we don’t care about our salah or indulge in sins. There is still the most valuable and best part of the best month left for us to ask for Forgiveness and do our best in worship…
Abu Hurairah RA reported that the Prophet SAW Said: “When the servant performs a sin, a black spot appears on his heart, & if he seeks forgiveness this black spot is removed, & if he returns to sin the black spot grows until his heart becomes black, and this is the ‘Raan’ (rust) about which Allaah spoke, “Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts.” [(83):14]

Ramadan, Day 19, Hadith 19
Allah(swt) forgives… we just need to ask. Are we seeking forgiveness enough this Ramadan?
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Allah, the Exalted, and Glorious said: `A slave committed a sin and he said: O Allah, forgive my sin,’ and Allah said: `My slave committed a sin and then he realized that he has a Rubb Who forgives the sins and punishes for the sin.’ He then again committed a sin and said: `My Rubb, forgive my sin,’ and Allah (SWT) said: `My slave committed a sin and then realized that he has a Rubb Who forgives his sin and punishes for the sin.’ He again committed a sin and said: `My Rubb, forgive my sin,’ and Allah (SWT) said: `My slave has committed a sin and then realized that he has a Rubb Who forgives the sin or takes (him) to account for sin. I have granted forgiveness to my slave. Let him do whatever he likes”.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Ramadan, Day 18, Hadith 18
Last 10 days of Ramadan are soon to begin… so should our preparation.
It was narrated on the authority of ‘Aa’ishah, may Allaah be pleased with her, that she said, “When the last ten days of Ramadan would come, the Prophet SAW used to tighten his lower garment belt, spend the whole night in prayer and worship, and wake his family (at night for prayer and worship).”
[Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
Ramadan, Day 17, Hadith 17
Yaum al-Badr
It has been narrated on the authority of ‘Umar b. al-Khattab who said: When it was the day on which the Battle of Badr was fought, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) cast a glance at the infidels, and they were one thousand while his own Companions were three hundred and nineteen. The Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) turned (his face) towards the Qibla Then he stretched his hands and began his supplication to his Lord: “O Allah, accomplish for me what Thou hast promised to me. O Allah, bring about what Thou hast promised to me. O Allah, if this small band of Muslims is destroyed. Thou will not be worshipped on this earth.” He continued his supplication to his Lord, stretching his hands, facing the Qibla, until his mantle slipped down from his shoulders. So Abu Bakr came to him, picked up his mantle and put it on his shoulders. Then he embraced him from behind and said:. Prophet of Allah, this prayer of yours to your Lord will suffice you, and He will fulfill for you what He has promised you. So Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, revealed (the Qur’anic verse): “When ye appealed to your Lord for help, He responded to your call (saying): I will help you with one thousand angels coming in succession.” So Allah helped him with angels.
[Muslim]

(3) A man whose heart is attached to the mosque
(4) Two persons who love each other only for Allah’s sake and they meet and part in Allah’s cause only;

To get the best of Ramadan we need to do more and more ibadah… one of them is standing in prayer at night. Day 9th hadith described about how night prayers can lead us to jannah… today’s hadith lists more of the benefits of night prayer.
Abu Umama al-Bahili (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, “Hold fast to night prayer, for it was the way of the righteous before you, a way of drawing closer to your Lord, an expiation for wrong deeds, and a shield from sin.”
